Weak or no camera signal?

The signal icon will show the connection strength between the camera and router.

The actual range will vary depending on a number of factors such as the thickness of walls, obstacles inside the house, and the location of the router.

If you have a poor signal or no signal displayed:

1. Please try moving your camera closer to the router if possible.

2. Please try to make sure there are no obstacles around the router.

 

How far can I place SoloCam from the router?

The maximum connection distance between the camera and the router is 200 meters in an open environment. If there are walls in between, the specific situation needs to be considered.

 

What do I do if my camera goes offline?

If the camera goes offline, check the following:

1. Check the camera’s battery level. If it is too low, charge the battery.

2. Press and release the SYNC button to check if the camera is switched off. If the LED does not light up, set the camera to ON in the camera settings or press and hold the camera for 2 seconds to boot up.

3. If you recently relocated the camera, try to move it closer to the router. 

4. Remove the SoloCam which is offline on the EufySecurity app and then add it again.

 

Can the SoloCam be connected to HomeBase 2 & Homebase 3 for use?

Yes, there are two connection modes. 

It can be used by directly connecting to the router or by connecting to HomeBase 2 & Homebase 3. And HomeBase S380's firmware version requires up to 3.6.8.9
