What if my RoboVac stops with Error 18/Error 19/Error 20? (for X8/L35/LR30 series and LR20)

What Caused Voice Alert: Error 18 / Error 19/Error 20?

Error 18 / Error 19/Error 20 is triggered when the Laser cover or Laser sensor gets stuck by debris or blocked by obstacles.

How Do I Fix Voice Alert: Error 18 / Error 19/Error 20?

If the error is emitted the first time you started to use it, please try the following:

  • Turn the RoboVac upside down and shake it to check if there is anything that may have been stuck on the laser sensor/laser cover.
  • Check whether there is anything that may have been stuck in the transmitting and receiving holes of the laser sensor and confirm whether the laser tube emits a light. Please gently remove debris or objects if there are any.
  • Check whether the laser rotates normally.
  • Factory reset the RoboVac: press and hold both 2 buttons(start/pause button and home button) on the vacuum top for 10-15 seconds.

If the error is emitted after you have used the device for a period of time, please try the following:

  • Please manually turn the RoboVac's lidar cover and lidar to check if there is any debris that may have been stuck. If there is any debris, please try to remove the debris from the lidar drive belt.
  • If you have a vacuum cleaner, you can use vacuum cleaner to try to clean any dust or debris that may have been stuck in the lidar hole.
