What is the Heart Rate Detection function?

eufy Smart Sock’s Heart Rate Detection function is designed to detect how many times your baby’s heart beats per minute (BPM) and it can be an indicator of your baby’s sleep quality. Please note that heart rate can vary depending on the baby’s activity level, and it is generally slower when the baby is asleep and quicker when the baby is awake and active.

Normal Heart Rate Range

The normal heart rate range varies by a person’s age. For infants between 0 to 12-month old, it generally ranges from 90 to 160 beats per minute.

Abnormal Heart Rate Range

A baby’s heart rate may exceed the normal range when the baby is either excited or feeling tense, such as when the baby is playing, feeding, crying, or feeling stressed. When the Smart Sock detects the baby’s heart rate is abnormal, it will send an alert to the Smart Sock Base and the eufy Baby app will also send a notification to your smartphone to inform you that the baby may be feeling uncomfortable or is needing help to fall back asleep.
