What should I do if my eufyCam S3 Pro cannot update the firmware?

If your eufyCam S3 Pro cannot successfully update the firmware, please try the following troubleshooting steps to solve the issue:

  1. Please check the LED indicator on the HomeBase 3.
  1. If the LED indicator displays a solid blue light, please restart the HomeBase 3 by unplugging and plugging the power adapter cable.
  2. If the LED indicator displays a red light, please wait approximately five minutes for the HomeBase 3 to restart. If the LED indicator still shows a red light after five minutes, please check if the Ethernet cable is inserted correctly and ensure your router has Internet access.
  1. Ensure the camera is near the HomeBase 3, at a range between 2m-8m but not closer than 20 cm.
  2. Please check the LED indicator on the camera.
  1. If the LED indicator displays a flashing red and blue light alternately, it indicates that the camera is updating the firmware. Please wait approximately five minutes for the camera to complete the firmware update.
  2. If the LED indicator is off, please press the SYNC button on the camera and check the status of the camera.
    1. If the LED indicator flashes a blue light once, the camera is powered on.
    2. If the LED indicator flashes a red light, the camera has a low battery and needs to be recharged. After charging the camera, try to update the firmware by opening the app and going to Camera Settings > General > About Device > Check for firmware update.
