DPI (Dots Per Linear Inch) is used to measure the number of pixels the cursor moves per inch when the actual mouse moves. By adjusting the DPI, you can instantly modify the speed of your mouse cursor to suit your preference, such as in-game targeting or photo editing.
The 800 / 1200 / 1600 DPI resolution optical tracking technology provides higher sensitivity than standard optical mice for smooth and precise operations on a wide range of surfaces.
Shown in the image below is the location of the DPI button on the Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse:
How to set the DPI?
To set the DPI on your Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse, you need to press the DPI button located on the mouse. Each press of the button will cycle through the DPI settings of 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI. After pressing the button, you can test the sensitivity by moving the mouse and observing the cursor speed on your computer screen. The higher the DPI, the more sensitive the mouse.
Why does the LED blink red sometimes?
The light will flash red when you press the DPI button or power it on. In addition, when the battery is running low, the LED bar will turn red and blink every time you move the mouse.
How do I make my mouse move faster?
The larger the number of DPI, the faster the cursor moves. For example, a mouse set to 1600 DPI will move faster than a mouse set to 1200 DPI.
