Scenario 1: USB-C Ports Do Not Connect to a Monitor
The USB-C ports on this hub are not designed for video output. The USB-C PD input port only supports charging the host device, and the USB-C data port supports data transfer only. Therefore, it is expected that connecting a monitor to either USB-C port will not work.
Scenario 2: USB-C PD Input Port Does Not Charge
Please note the USB-C PD input port supports a maximum of 85W charging when used with a PD wall charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable that both support 100W PD charging. The hub consumes 15W of power for its own operation.
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Confirm whether your laptop can charge properly without using the hub.
- Test the hub with a different PD wall charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable that both support 100W PD charging.
- Try using the hub with a different laptop.
- Disconnect the hub from your laptop and unplug all connected devices for at least 5 minutes. Then, reboot your laptop and reconnect the hub to see if the issue is resolved.
Scenario 3: USB-C Data Port Cannot Transfer Data
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Disconnect the hub from your laptop and unplug all connected devices for at least 5 minutes. Then, reboot your laptop and reconnect the hub to see if the issue is resolved.
- Check if your peripheral devices work normally when connected directly to your laptop, bypassing the hub.
- Try a different working USB-C device to see whether it works normally in these ports.
- Test the hub with a different laptop to see if the issue persists.
