Why does my M2 Macbook charge intermittently with Anker multi-port chargers?

Using multi-port chargers such as the Anker 735 Nano II charger to charge the M2 MacBook may result in intermittent disconnections with the original MagSafe charging cable. This is due to the M2's charging strategy, which disconnects its MagSafe port when it receives a power adjustment. For more reliable charging, it is recommended to use a regular USB-C to USB-C cable.
