Anker Nano Power Bank (5K, MagGo, Slim) FAQ

Q1: Which products are compatible with the wireless charging feature?

A1:

  • Phones: iPhone 12 / 13 / 14 / 15 / 16 Series

  • Earbuds: AirPods Pro 1 (1st and 2nd Gen), AirPods 3 with MagSafe Charging Case

  • Cases: MagSafe-compatible phone cases

Q2: Why do the power bank or phone overheat while charging?

A2: The wireless charging surface is regulated to stay below 104°F (40°C). However, your phone may still heat up under heavy use. If it gets too warm, pause charging and let it cool down.

Q3: Why does my power bank provide fewer charges than expected?

A3: Anker Nano Power Bank (5K, MagGo, Slim) is designed for portability and quick top-ups. With a capacity of 5,000mAh, and accounting for energy loss, it provides about 2,750mAh to 3,250mAh of usable charge—often not enough for a full phone recharge.

Q4: Why doesn't the power bank include a kickstand?

A4: To maintain a slim design, Anker Nano Power Bank (5K, MagGo, Slim) does not include a kickstand. For options with built-in stands, consider Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K) and Anker 633 Magnetic Battery—A1654 and A1641 models respectively.

Q5: What does the power button do?

A5:

  1. Press once to show battery level and activate wireless charging.

  2. Press for 5 seconds to turn off the light and stop wireless output.

Note: On first use, the plug-and-play function is disabled. Press the button to turn on wireless charging.

Q6: Why can't this power bank charge high-power laptops?

A6: Anker Nano Power Bank (5K, MagGo, Slim) is built for smartphones. Its maximum wired output is 20W and doesn't support the 20V profile required for most laptops. For laptop charging, please explore our higher-capacity models.

Q7: How long does it take to fully charge this model?

A7: At 77°F (25°C), using a 20W or higher charger, it takes around 1 hour and 54 minutes to fully recharge the power bank.

Q8: Does this power bank support pass-through charging mode?

A8: Yes. In direct charging mode, wireless charging supports up to 7.5W while the power bank is being recharged.
