The charging process for phones and laptops follows a fluctuating power curve, typically reaching maximum power when the battery is low and the screen is off.
Factors such as battery level, screen status, and temperature protection mechanisms influence the actual charging power. This behavior occurs even with the device's original charger.
Normal Power Fluctuation Example: Samsung S24 Ultra
At 10% Battery: Delivers 43W
At 40% Battery: Delivers 32W
At 70% Battery: Delivers 15W
For the Apple iPhone 16 Pro with Its Original Adapter:
10%-30% Battery: Adapter Delivers 20W
30%-70% Battery: Adapter Delivers 10W - 20W
Over 70% Battery: Adapter Delivers Below 10W
Note: This gradual reduction in power input is intentional to protect battery health.
Troubleshooting Abnormal Charging Speeds:
• Test alternate components: Swap charging cables, preferably using original or OEM cables.
• Try a different wall outlet.
Benchmark charging performance: Time a full charge cycle (0 - 100%) using your original charger and compare this duration to our charger's performance under identical conditions.
