Normal: why does the charger get warm

When the product is delivering high power, the energy conversion process generates heat, which is released through housing and may cause the surface temperature to rise. This is normal for a high-power charger.

According to certification standards, the maximum allowed temperature rise for the charger housing is 77°C. Even if the charger feels very hot, it will not be damaged or pose a safety risk as long as it meets these certification requirements.

Please note that the applicable safety standard only permits brief contact of up to 10 seconds, rather than prolonged contact. For this reason, we do not recommend touching the charger when it is operating at full power.

During extended charging, the energy conversion process generates heat, which may be transferred to the EU plug pins. As a result, the exposed metal parts may become very hot. Please avoid touching them.
If the charger feels unusually hot:

Stop charging and let the product sit for 1 - 2 hours until it returns to room temperature. Do not connect it to a wall outlet or plug anything into the product.

Check whether there is any debris or dirt inside the ports that may block the connection. Gently clean the ports with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.

Try charging the device using one port only, without using any other ports. Please test each port.

Try charging different devices with different charging cables.

Try a different power outlet.
