Product Discharge quickly when in use:
External batteries normally give only 60%-70% of their capacity to other devices. Approximately 30%-40% of the battery capacity is used up by the power bank itself for the circuitry to actually generate the charge to the device it's trying to charge. These efficiency problems affect all electronic devices no matter which brand you are using, and a fully recharged Anker PowerCore 5K shall generally be able to give at least 1 charge to an iPhone 12 with a 2815 mAh battery (the usable capacity is 3000 mAh) and 10K capacity power banks can provide 2 charges to an iPhone 12 (the usable capacity is 6000 mAh) and 20K capacity power banks can charge iPhone 12 about 4 times (the usable capacity would be 12000 mAh).

Product discharge quickly when not in use:

- Unplug the USB C to lightning cable if you plug one into the USB-C PD port of the PowerCore when not in use. Please note that the USB C to lightning cable includes a special chip, which this PowerCore will detect, and the PD port of the PowerCore will continue to output even though no device is connected to the lightning cable
- Please try recharging the battery to full, then unplug any kind of cable from the PowerCore for several days to see if it helps
- Please note that this power bank activates its wireless charging when not in use if you place it near any kind of metal item such as keys, other phones, etc. It's a normal phenomenon. Please plug out all the cables and try to place them somewhere far from any metal or devices such as phones, AirPods, smart watches, etc. to see if the issue persists.
Anker Powercore III 10K indicator confusion:
The first oval-shaped indicator on the right is not a battery indicator. It indicates that the battery is ready to charge your devices wirelessly. The other 4 LEDs indicate a charge, and after recharging it fully, all 4 LEDs will turn off except the first wireless charging indicator. The oval-shaped wireless indicator will keep blinking on full charge until and unless you connect your phone to it for charging wirelessly. It is a normal phenomenon for these PowerCores.
When the powerbank is connected to the power source, it will turn off all of its 4 battery indicators after fully recharging itself. The first wireless indicator will keep blinking, which means it is ready to charge your iPhone in pass-thorough mode.
