Charging Issues
If you own an Anker 4-Port Ultra Slim USB 3.0 Data Hub and encounter charging issues, note that it is intended for data transfer and not for charging. Since the hub does not have an external adapter, it draws all its power from the computer's USB port. Therefore the current cannot exceed 0.9 amp among all ports. If you attempt to charge a device with this hub, it can provide a maximum of 0.5A, resulting in slow charging speeds. However, the hub is not defective.
If you own an Anker 7-Port USB 3.0 Data Hub with a 36W power adapter and encounter charging issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Confirm if this device's LED light is on when connected to a computer.
- Try a different wall charger/cable/outlet.
- Try the device with a different computer to see if the issue persists.
