What Should I Do When My Device Overheats?

Please try the troubleshooting by following the below steps one by one:

It is normal for the charger to get a little warm.

Please know that the charger includes the following protections to ensure your device charges safely:

• Over-Temperature Protection (OTP)

• Input Overvoltage Protection (IOVP)

• Short Circuit Protection (SCP)

• Output Over-Current Protection (OOCP)

• Reset Protection (RP)

If it is too hot to touch, this is abnormal. Please try the following troubleshooting tips:

• Let the charger sit for 5 minutes without being plugged into the outlet and without anything plugged into the charger itself. This resets the charger and might solve the issue.

• Try another cable and a different outlet.

• Try charging a different device.
