What should I do if Anker Prime Wireless Car Charger gets hot?(A2933)

First of all, please determine which type of overheating your product falls under:

  • Heat During Charging

It is normal for your phone to feel warm during wireless charging. Wireless charging naturally generates heat, and the charger's metal body is designed to help dissipate it. As a result, the surface may feel slightly warm to the touch.

Notes:

-Using an incompatible phone may cause overheating. This product is designed specifically for iPhones that support magnetic wireless charging.

-Using incompatible phone cases may also lead to excessive heating. We recommend using Apple's official magnetic case or an ultra-thin magnetic case no thicker than 2.5 mm. Avoid non-magnetic or thick cases.

  • Heat From the Charger Itself

The sides and back of the charger may become warm during extended use, especially when running navigation or video apps. To avoid potential discomfort or burns, do not touch the charger's metal components when the car has been exposed to prolonged direct sunlight.

If all of the steps above cannot help you locate and resolve the problem, please contact Anker Customer Support for further assistance. Briefly mention the steps that you’ve already tried for a faster solution.
