What should I do if my SD card is readable but not writable when connected to the card reader/hub/dock?

It’s possible that your SD card is still in write protection mode, which means you can browse the files on the card but you cannot copy, transfer, or delete any files. This issue may be caused by the connected laptop, the SD card, or the card reader/hub/dock.

Here are some troubleshooting tips that may help locate and resolve the problem.

For the laptop:

  • Try a different laptop with a different operating system to see if the issue still persists.

For the SD card:

  • Back up the data, format the card (choose format “ExFAT”) and try the card again.
  • Try a different SD card.

For the hub/dock:

  • Try with a different hub/dock to see if the SD card can work correctly.

If you’ve tried all of the above tips and the problem still persists, please contact us for further assistance. Make sure to briefly mention the tips you’ve already tried so that a solution can be provided faster.
