What should I do when my hub shuts off on standby mode(Sleep issue)?

For MSI laptop setting

  • For MSI Laptops, keep pressing Delete when MSI Logo is seen
  • Then you will enter the laptop BIOS
  • Go to “Advanced” settings
  • Enable “USB Wake From Sleep when Plugged Into AC.”
 

For Windows laptop

  • Find the Device manager
  • Look for Universal Serial Bus Controllers---USB Root Hub; suitable click USB Root Hub, then select properties
  • On the tabs above, find Power Management--- uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" and click “ok.” Reboot the laptop/computer to see if it solves the issue.
 

For Mac users(Before the macOS Ventura)

  • Please uncheck the box "put the hard disks to sleep when possible" in the energy saver(Battery mode and Power Adapter mode). 
  • Use a different computer to try
 

For macOS Ventura

  • Find the Lock Screen
  • Setting the "Turn display off on battery when inactive"&"Turn display off on power adapter when inactive" to Never(According to the time you would love to set)
  • Reboot the laptop/computer to see if it solves the issue. Use a different computer to try.
