Why does Anker 737 PowerBank drain so quickly?

Usually, an external battery could supply 60% of power to other devices. Approximately 40% of the battery capacity is lost in circuit heat and voltage conversions. A fully charged PowerCore 240000 can only offer 13000-14000mAh battery capacity to your devices.

If the power bank drains quickly when not being used,  please try the following tips to see if troubleshooting is helpful or not:

  • Avoid leaving a USB C to lightning cable in the portable battery when you do not use the PowerCore. The USB C to lightning cable will drain power automatically even though there is no phone connected.
  • Turn on the "Auto Screen Off".  If the mode is off, the screen and MCU will always be in working status, which will consume a lot of power: around 15% in a day (24 hours). Therefore, it is suggested to turn on the option "Auto Screen Off" when you do not need to view the screen display information for a long time.
  • Charge the PowerCore fully again, do not leave any cables in, and leave it unused for 1-2 days to see if the same issue happens again.

If the power bank drains quickly when charging other devices, please try the following tips:

  • Learn the capacity of your devices and confirm how many charges the battery can offer to your phone when you're not using the device (when it's in power-saving mode) to see whether it is within the normal range.
  • Charge the PowerCore fully again, then try a different cable to your device to see if it works better. Do not leave any cables in the portable battery when you do not use the PowerCore.
  • Try to charge a different device to see how it works。
