Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus and some later models, such as the S22 Ultra and Tab S7+, reach even higher charging speeds of 45W with the latest USB Power Delivery 3.0 PPS (Programmable Power Supply) charging, and "Super fast charging 2.0" appears on the lock screen. In order to charge it to the fastest speeds, it requires a 45W charger with an unusual 9V/5A rating, which means it also requires a 5A cable.
Due to this latest PPS charging protocol, most Anker 45W chargers will show "Super fast charging" only instead of "Super fast charging 2.0" on the phone screen, despite the full charging time being almost exactly the same as Samsung's 45W wall charger. "Super fast charging 2.0" will appear when using our latest GaNPrime Chargers, 717 140W Charger and 736 Nano II Charger, but may not appear when using multiple ports simultaneously due to the reduced wattage of the single USB-C port. Regardless of which Anker 45W PPS charger you opt for, you can expect your phone to be fully charged in around an hour.
In summary, the following prerequisites are required to achieve Super fast charging 2.0" mode:
- A USB-C to USB-C cable rated at 5A (100W)
- A Samsung phone supports 45W fast charging
- A 45W or powerful charger that follows the latest 9V/5A PPS charging protocol, such as our 736 Nano II Charger and GaNPrime Chargers.
