Charging performance varies by charger, cable, and laptop model. Check the following:
-
- The hub supports up to 100W input and reserves 15W when PD input is below 65W or 20W when PD input is 65W or higher. For optimal charging performance, use a PD wall charger rated 15 - 20W higher than your laptop's original charger.
-
Some laptops, including certain Dell and Lenovo models, use proprietary charging protocols and may display a "slow charging" warning when connected to third-party chargers. If your laptop requires 80W or less, the hub can charge it at the same speed as the original adapter when used with a 100W PD wall charger.
-
Some laptops are designed to charge primarily through a dedicated DC barrel port and may display a "slow charging" warning when powered through USB-C PD. This is normal. For these devices, use the original DC charger whenever possible.
