This can occur when the hub is used without a connected PD wall charger. Common causes include:

• Screensaver Power Usage: Running a custom screensaver for an extended period may increase battery consumption.

• Hub Power Consumption: Even when no screensaver is running and no connected devices are active, the hub typically draws about 2 - 3W from the laptop during normal operation.

To reduce battery drain, connect a PD wall charger to the hub or charge your laptop directly whenever possible, especially during extended use.
