What should I know before buying a wireless charging station for an Apple Watch?

As of October 2022, Apple has launched 12 models of Apple watches. Among them, are Apple Watch (1st generation), Apple Watch Series 1-6, and SE (2020) with a USB-A Magnetic Charging Cable, and Apple Watch Series 7-8, SE (2021), Ultra with a Magnetic Fast Charger to USB-C Cable.

Most Anker Wireless Stations were designed before the release of Apple Watches Series 7 so they have a built-in USB A charging port to fit the USB-A Magnetic Charging Cable that comes with the Apple watch cable(1-6), such as

It is worth noting that the old version with a built-in USB-A port is still for sale. In October, we developed an Anker 3-in-1 Cube with MagSafe, which has a built-in fast charging module for Apple Watch Series 7 and later models and can fast charge them.

Title: The title of Wireless Charger will say the compatible models of Apple Watches. The wireless stations with the title say Apple Watch Series 1-6 come with a built-in USB-A port, and the wireless stations with the title say Watch Series 7 come with a USB-C port
Simple Setup: The picture of Simple Setup on the product listing will show the suitable type of Apple Watch cable and how to set up the watch charger cable. Please note the 3.3ft/1M Apple Watch cable usually needs to be overlapped to wrap into the grooves.
Note: The notes at the bottom of the product listing will remind the suitable type of Apple watch charger cable. For example, it will say “Use an original 1 ft (0.3m) or 3.3 ft (1 m) USB-C charging cable to charge Apple Watch (not included)”.
