The display resolution and refresh rate of the 556 USB-C Hub support varies depending on the specification of the host device's USB C port, and the number of connected monitors.

Note:  The table displayed above illustrates the maximum resolutions that this hub can support. 

However, the actual display output may differ depending on the specifications of the host device. The supported resolution and refresh rate are influenced by three factors: 

1. whether DP 1.2 or DP 1.4 is supported;
2.  whether 2 lanes or 4 lanes are being utilized; 
3. whether the laptop supports DSC, which stands for Display Stream Compression, which is a technology used to compress video data before it is transmitted from a source device (such as a laptop) to a display device (such as a monitor).
