Will this dock work with any laptop? How do I make sure my laptop works with this dock？

This dock works with laptops with a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery. To confirm the USB-C port function of your laptop, consult your user manual or contact your laptop’s manufacturer. If your USB-C port doesn’t support DisplayPort Alt Mode, you won’t receive video output. If your USB-C port doesn’t support Power Delivery, the dock will work correctly with video and data (including audio and USB), but would not be able to supply charging to your laptop.

Does the dock compatible with M1 MacBook® computers?

Yes, it is compatible. However, M1-based MacBook computers cannot support dual extended displays through this Dock. When connected to dual monitors, the two monitors will show the same screen. 

Will this dock work with any phones for wireless charging？

No, this dock is Qi-Certified, it supports 7.5W wireless charging for iPhones, and 5W/10W for Android phones with Qi certification. Due to the size of the phone, iPhone mini-series phones may take longer to charge.

Does this dock support USB Power Delivery (PD)?

Yes, it supports PD 3.0 (60W to 85W for laptop charging)

What is the maximum data transfer speed on the USB ports?

The maximum data transfer speed is 5Gbps as the USB A ports are USB 3.1 Gen1 ports. 

Does this dock require software/driver?

No, this dock is plug and play, no software/driver is required.

What kind of cable should I use to connect the dock to my laptop?

It’s recommended that you use the included USB-C to USB-C cable. If you need to use a different cable (due to loss etc.), then another USB 3.1 Gen2 (USB-C to USB-C) cable would also be compatible.
