First, 25W is the maximum wireless charging output. Actual charging power varies depending on temperature, battery level, and your phone's internal charging settings. The maximum output is not maintained throughout the charging process.

If the wireless charging power never reaches 25W, there may be an issue with the charging station. Try the following troubleshooting steps:

• Check your device's wireless charging capabilities. The charging station is compatible with iPhone 12 - 18 series models. iPhone 12 - 15 models support up to 25W. However, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro support up to 22W, and the iPhone 17 Air supports up to 20W. The iPhone SE and iPhone 16e do not support wireless charging. If you're using an iPhone 16 series model, make sure it's running iOS 26 or later to achieve the maximum charging power supported by your phone.

• Check your phone's battery level. Charging power varies throughout the charging process. It's generally higher when the battery level is low and automatically decreases as the battery charges to help protect battery health.

• Check your phone case. Remove your phone case or use an official MagSafe case. Avoid cases thicker than 2.5 mm or cases that aren't MagSafe-compatible, as they may affect wireless charging speed.

• Check the charging mode. Make sure you're using Fast Mode rather than Care Mode. Care Mode reduces charging power to help keep your phone cooler and protect battery health. Wireless charging power is limited to 7.5W in Care Mode.

• Try another device. If possible, test the wireless charging pad with another compatible iPhone.
