Anker Prime Charging Docking Station (14-in-1, Triple Display, DisplayLink)
Port Specification
It features an upstream 10Gbps/140W USB C port, AC plug with 100V-240V, three USB C ports supporting charging and 10Gbps data transfer simultanously, two USB A 5.0Gbps, one USB A 480Mbps port, two HDMI ports and one DP port, one 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, one Audio port and one SD/TF port.
Display Capability
1. Install DisplayLink: Download and launch the latest DisplayLink driver to enable external displays. Follow on-screen prompts or the instructions on the protective wrap. 2. No Privacy Concern for macOS: macOS requires Screen Recording permission so DisplayLink can render mirrored or extended displays over USB. No screen data is collected or sent to DisplayLink or Synaptics. 3. HDCP Setting: If protected content won't play with DisplayLink displays, see the first FAQ in the manual to adjust setting. 4. USB-C Monitors Not Supported: The three front USB-C ports support charging and data transfer only. They do not output video or connect to USB-C monitors.
Compatibility
1. Laptop's USB-C Requirements: For full compatibility, your laptop's USB-C port must support at least 10 Gbps data transfer and Power Delivery 3.1 with charging up to 140W. 2. Use the Included USB 3.1 Gen 2 Cable: We recommend using the included USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable to connect the dock to your laptop, as other cables may cause compatibility issues. 3. System Support: DisplayLink works with Windows 10 / 11 and macOS 13.5 or later.
Charging Ability
1. Dell Charging Notice: Some Dell laptops use a proprietary charging protocol and may show a "slow charging" warning with non-Dell chargers. If your Dell laptop requires 140W or less, the dock will charge it at the same speed as the original adapter. 2. Charging Protocols for Front USB-C Ports: When the upstream port is connected to the laptop, the three front USB-C ports provide standard USB Power Delivery (PD) charging only. Disconnecting the upstream link may enable additional charging protocols for other devices on the front USB-C ports. 3. Host Laptop Charging: For 140W laptop charging, your laptop must support PD 3.1 and no devices should be connected to the front USB-C ports. If your laptop requires more than 140W, use the original power adapter.
